Lotus and Self

Lotus and Being – The Artistic Journey of Connection
In the flow of time and inner feeling, “Lotus and Being” is a visual journey exploring the profound connection between humans and nature.
The lotus is more than just a flower — it is a state of existence, a symbol of reincarnation, birth – death, fading – blooming in Buddhist concept. From the mud, the lotus quietly rises, blooming each thin petal as if meditating in the midst of chaos.
To me, the lotus is a symbol of the original self: quiet yet vibrant, soft yet resilient, simple yet profound.
The images of women in the series are more than just characters — they embody the connection between humans and nature, between the visible and the invisible. In every glance, every sitting posture, and every blooming lotus petal is a whisper: that we are not separate from the earth, but are part of it.
The lotus is a symbol of purification—rising above the mud to reach pure beauty. It does not flaunt its beauty, but shines from humility; it does not compete, but exists as a reminder of awakening.
In a chaotic world, the lotus is a still point. In the creative journey, the lotus is a companion — a guide to emotions, to contemplation, and to the return to oneself.
The painting series “Lotus and Being” is not just a collection of images — but a space of meditation, where viewers can stop, listen and feel life breathing in every color.
