Nguyen Dinh Long

Was born in 1970 in Gia Binh - Bac Ninh,

Currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City.

Graduated from Vietnam University of Fine Arts.

Member of Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association -

Member of Vietnam Fine Arts Association.

Main creative material: Lacquer.

 Whose work is deeply rooted in traditional materials and cultural memory.

Over many years of practice, he has developed a distinctive visual language in his works — each painting is not just a decorative symbol, but a form of contemplation shaped over time and process.

His works have been exhibited and continuously presented at galleries in Ho Chi Minh City, reflecting a long-term commitment to lacquer as both a medium and a philosophy.

He composes with a slow process, disciplined approach, allowing each painting to evolve through multiple layers and stages of refinement.

Living and working in Vietnam-Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Dinh Long continues to explore the relationship between material, silence, and perception in contemporary lacquer painting.

His works are part of the contemporary Vietnamese lacquer painting movement.
