My nostalgia for my childhood, often accompanying my mother to the market to buy simple Tet (Lunar New Year) supplies, led me to paint a baby sitting on the back of a buffalo, the zodiac animal of the Year of the Ox, to welcome the traditional Tet holiday of 2021. The painting was exhibited at the "Spring Exhibition" at the HMT exhibition hall in Ho Chi Minh City, 2021.
