Nguyễn Đình Long chia sẻ góc nhìn về ngôn ngữ tạo hình – nơi tư duy sáng tạo gặp gỡ chiều sâu tri thức. In the journey of practicing art, I always seek the simultaneous presence of emotions – where space and time merge into one, where memories and the present breathe together on the same plane of the artwork. In my paintings, form – line – light and dark are not just shaping elements, but the language of mood. I observe life not with my eyes, but with emotions deeply felt within. Every time I sit before an unfinished painting is a time I dialogue with myself – between reality and memory, between light and darkness. Painting gives me the right to slow down, to listen to the most delicate and fragile things. I choose to simplify forms to preserve the soul – where emotions speak. For me, painting is a way to find stillness amidst a noisy life. Each painting is a moment of silence, where the human soul is seen, shared, and empathized with.

Khám phá chiều sâu bản thể qua hình ảnh hoa sen trong tranh sơn mài của họa sĩ Nguyễn Đình Long– nơi nghệ thuật truyền thống gặp gỡ triết lý sống, sự tĩnh lặng và hành trình nội tâm. Lotus and its essence Lotus and Being – The Artistic Journey of Connection In the flow of time and inner feeling, “Lotus and Being” is a visual journey exploring the profound connection between humans and nature. The lotus is more than just a flower — it is a state of existence, a symbol of reincarnation, birth – death, fading – blooming in Buddhist concept. From the mud, the lotus quietly rises, blooming each thin petal as if meditating in the midst of chaos. To me, the lotus is a symbol of the original self: quiet yet vibrant, soft yet resilient, simple yet profound. The images of women in the series are more than just characters — they embody the connection between humans and nature, between the visible and the invisible. In every glance, every sitting posture, and every blooming lotus petal is a whisper: that we are not separate from the earth, but are part of it. The lotus is a symbol of purification—rising above the mud to reach pure beauty. It does not flaunt its beauty, but shines from humility; it does not compete, but exists as a reminder of awakening. In a chaotic world, the lotus is a still point. In the creative journey, the lotus is a companion — a guide to emotions, to contemplation, and to the return to oneself. The painting series “Lotus and Being” is not just a collection of images — but a space of meditation, where viewers can stop, listen and feel life breathing in every color.
